The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation Donates Emergency Ambulances
On 27 May, 2020, Mrs. Aimon Srivaddhanaprabha, President of the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation, together with the Committee Members, donated emergency ambulances to hospitals which had suffered from a lack of vehicles to transport patients in emergency cases including accident victims. With increasing numbers of patients, those hospitals with more ambulances can now respond to emergencies, where examination and treatment cannot be delayed. However, in the cases where the hospital does not have the capability to treat the emergency medical condition, an appropriate transfer of the patient to another hospital can be done, with the now equipped vehicles. Also present at the donation ceremony were Dr. Pairoj Boonkongchuen, Director of Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital, Dr. Pattira Tangrattanasuwan, Director of Saiburi Crown Prince Hospital, and Dr. Intr Jandaeng, Director of Sungaikolok Hospital. The ceremony took place at King Power, Rangnam.

On 25 May, 2020, Mrs.Aimon Srivaddhanaprabha, President of the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation, together with the Committee Members, presented an educational grant of one million baht to Chitralada Vocational School for a third consecutive year. Also present at the ceremony organised at King Power, Rangnam was Associate Professor Dr. Khunying Sumonta Promboon, President of Chitralada Technology Institute.

On 23 March 2020, Miss Aroonroong Srivaddhanaprabha, a Committee Member and Secretary General of the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation presented a 100,000 Baht grant in support of educational scholarship for children of civil servants and permanent employees of the Provost Marshal General Department in celebration of the Provost Marshal Day. The grant was presented to the Provost Marshal General at King Power Rangnam.

On 18 March 2020, Mrs. Aimon Srivaddhanaprabha, President of the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation , together with the Foundation Committee Members donated a 20-million Baht fund to support Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute’s fight against COVID-19. The fund was presented to Prof. Dr. Piyamitr Sritara, Clin. Prof. Dr. Pornchai Mulpruek, and Dr. Pairoj Boonkongchuen at King Power Rangnam.

On 17 March 2020, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health witnessed the receipt of a 5,000,000-Baht fund donated by Mr. Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, a Committee member of the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation, for the Department of Disease Control to support the work of the medical staff nationwide. The fund was presented to Dr. Suwannachai Wattanayingcharoen, Director-General of the Department of Disease Control at the Government House.

The fund was presented to Dr. Apichart Vachiraphan, Director of the Institute, together with medical staff from the Institute, at King Power Rangnam.

On 21 February 2020, Mrs. Aimon Srivaddhanaprabha, President of the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation, donated an Infant Transport Incubator to Suksamran Hospital. It was received by Dr Tavorn Salee, the Hospital Director, in the presence of Mr. Chatuphot Piyamputra, Ranong Governor and Mrs Panwipa Piyamputra, the Red Cross President of Ranong. The ceremony was held at Suksamran Hospital, Suksamran District, in Ranong province.
