Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and King Power
continue their commitment to giving by organising the
‘Give Blood, Save Lives’ campaign.

The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and King Power Group continue their mission to promote happiness and cultivate a sustainable spirit of giving by organising the “Give Blood, Save Lives” campaign. The event was led by Khun Aimon Srivaddhanaprabha, Khun Aroonroong Srivaddhanaprabha, Khun Voramas Srivaddhanaprabha, Khun Ravi Itiravivong, and Khun Voravichaya Sirasene Srivaddhanaprabha, along with executives, employees, and the general public, who joined the blood donation drive, which will be contributed to the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society throughout 2025.

The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and King Power Group continue their tradition of compassion by organising the “Give Blood, Save Lives” campaign, kindling the spirit of giving without expecting anything in return, as envisioned by Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the late Chairman of the King Power Foundation. This initiative aims to contribute blood donations to the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society. The event received significant interest from employees and the general public, who joined in the activity and shared their feelings of being a “giver.”

Khun Sanit Phetprasert, an employee of King Power Group, shared: “I started donating blood with the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and King Power Group about 2 years ago. As an employee, I wanted to be involved in giving back to society. The company has provided an opportunity for me to do this conveniently as I didn’t need to travel. I have decided to donate blood from that point on. I have a rare blood type, so I believe donating not only enriches my life but also helps sustain the life of others. I encourage everyone to join in donating their blood at King Power or the Thai Red Cross Society 4 times a year. It’s a fulfilling experience. I feel truly happy every time I donate.”

Khun Soravee Janpiti, an employee of King Power Group, shared: “My appreciation for blood donation started when my partner’s father needed heart bypass surgery and required blood for the operation. At that time, I couldn’t donate blood, so I asked my friends at the company for help, and everyone came together to donate blood for my partner’s father. It left a lasting impression on me. Currently, I take good care of myself, making it possible for me to donate blood. Over the past 25 years, I have done so a total of 65 times. Donating blood benefits the giver by improving blood circulation, stimulating the production of new blood cells, in addition to helping fellow human beings. I’m happy that the company values giving back to society, and I plan to continue being a life-long giver through blood donations.”

Another employee who participated in the blood donation event, Khun Songpol Huajaiphet, an employee of King Power Group, shared: “Since I started in early 1982, I’ve donated a total of 97 times. It brings joy to my heart, and I feel good every time I can give. Donating blood once can help save the lives of 2-3 patients. It’s a way to do good without any investment, giving life as an offering. It’s the best way to help save others’ lives that anyone can do. I encourage everyone to join in donating blood to ensure there is forever enough blood to save patients’ lives.”

Additionally, we were honoured to hear from Khun Supanan Rakpuang, a local resident of the Rangnam area, who shared her feelings about donating blood this time: “I’ve donated blood a total of 24 times over the past 12 years. This is my second time participating in the ‘Give Blood, Save Lives’ campaign organised by the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and King Power Group. I feel very good about it because we are neighbours, living nearby. People in the local community can easily come to donate blood. I encourage everyone who is in good health to join. Wherever you are, you can donate blood and help save lives. By doing so, we also bring happiness and good health to ourselves.”
